The Burger at Dic Ann’s

There are multiple branches of Dic Ann’s, which is fortunate for foodies, especially those who love burgers. As Montreal’s premier burger chain, it’s no surprise just how much love was put into the preparations of their burgers. Well worth the trip, Enrico Frank Andreoli mentions that the secret ingredient is the spicy meat sauce, which makes these burgers better than the rest.

Griot at Marche Meli Melo

Located at 640 Rue Jarry E, Marche Meli Melo is half a grocery and half a snack bar, or casse-croûte. It is a famous establishment, with patrons from the immediate community.  Marche Mali Melo has tons of meals worth noting, but it’s the griot, which is a marinated, spicy and sour pork shoulder, that stands above the rest.

Pulled Pork Sandwich at Dépanneur Le Pick Up

Dépanneur Le Pick Up is located on 7032 Rue Waverly.  It is an iconic establishment that is well-known for its incredibly scrumptious sandwiches, which are more incredibly affordably priced. Enrico Frank Andreoli mentions thought that the best item on the Le Pick Up menu is undoubtedly the pulled pork, which is tangy and saucy, with pickles on crusty bread. It also has a vegan version that is made with jackfruit, and may very well be the best vegan treat in town.

Foie Gras Poutine at Au Pied de Cochon

One of the most beloved meals in Montreal, Au Pied de Cochon’s Foie Gras Poutine is a masterclass in culinary preparation, as shown by its creator, Chef Martin Picard.  Picard has taken a lower-end item and enhanced it to the point that the dish has become as famous as any other dish in the region.

Montreal Bagels at St-Viateur Bagel

St-Viateur Bagel is home to the thinner, sweeter, and less-doughy version of the bagel. The establishment has marketed the bread with smoked meat and has become one of the city’s leading exports.
